5 weeks – 205 hrs
115 hours on 5 weight classes from 8,000kg to 30,000kg
Plus 1 hour orientation & 3 hours each on Loader, Dozer & Articulated Rock Truck

*All courses include 4 IHE minimum standard Safety Tickets:
Petroleum Safety Training (PST) or CSTS, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance (GD) & First Aid Level 1.
*All courses include PPE as part of tuition - Hardhat, Hi-vis Vest, Ear/Eye Protection, & Gloves. Student MUST come with their own CSA approved steel toed boots (not shoes), appropriate clothes for the season (no shorts/min 6” sleeved shirts to be worn on site) note pad, binder and a pen/pencil.
Other safety tickets offered (at additional cost):
H2S - This course is the industry standard for Hydrogen Sulphide training in the oil and gas, petroleum, pulp & paper, mining & smelter, sewage, waster & livestock management industries. $210.00
OSSA Orientation - In order to obtain employment at any sites in the Fort McMurray Oil sands, you MUST have completed this orientation. $60.00
TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) For anyone who handles or transports dangerous goods in Canada. $80.00
