Funding Options:

We have various sources of funding available to get you the training you are looking for. As there are new funding programs being announced to meet the expected skills shortage in the years to come, our student administrators work with you to identify these sources and help you reach your goals of becoming a competent heavy equipment operator.

Employers - Looking to have an employee receive a certificate for individual equipment? We have identified funding sources which will subsidize up to 38% of one of our 2 week courses. Call for more details.

Alberta and out of province students - IHE operator school has various funding sources for out of province students. Contact our office for more information.

Student Lines of Credit – if you have good credit or have a co-signor, you may qualify for a student line of credit. Pay interest only for the first year.

Community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) – If you have been employed in the forestry industry, you may qualify for funding up to $5,000

Employment Insurance (EI) - In BC the current cap is only on Tuition. Our course prices reflect total costs including tuition, books, PPE, safety tickets and instructional costs.

We have many students taking advantage of multiple funding sources

BC Student Aid – As we are accredited with PCTIA, our courses qualify for BC Student Aid funding

Injured Workers – Call as you may qualify for assistance

RRSP's – Students can withdraw a portion of their RRSP’s under the lifelong learning plan and contribute to their education without any adverse tax effects
