IHE College provides industry-leading training at three sites in Western Canada. Choose from one of our exciting individual courses or course combinations below. We have options to suit all budgets, time and needs.

2020 Tuition Fees

Earth Mover Program – 12 weeks, 285 machine hours, plus online instructional theory
Excavators, Grader, Dozer, Loader, Articulated Rock Truck (A.R.T.), Rubber Tire Backhoe (RTB) machines $25,500

HEO (Heavy Equipment Operator) – 10 weeks, 235 machine hours, plus online instructional theory
Excavators, Grader, Dozer, Loader, A.R.T., RT Backhoe machines $20,850

FOUR-PIECE FULL EQUIPMENT – 8 weeks, 190 machine hours, plus online instructional theory
Excavators, Grader, Dozer, Loader machines $18,250

COMBINATION – 6 weeks, 145 machine hours, plus online instructional theory
Excavators, ART & Loader machines $14,950

EXCAVATOR – 5 weeks, 115 machine hours, plus online instructional theory
Multiple weight classes, from 8 tonne to 30 tonne machines $11,250

INDIVIDUAL – 3 weeks, 50 machine hours, plus online instructional theory

ADMITTANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 is recommended, but not required
  • Able to tolerate exposure to vibration
  • Adequate agility for climbing, bending, stooping
  • If you are a minor, you will need parental permission
  • Daily attendance and C.S.A. safety boots
  • A good attitude and a willingness to learn
